Demismatch
- Demismatch is an open, non-profit, research project. At its center is Cor: an evidence-graded atlas of what human beings need, built so any environment or technology can be checked against it. Open Cor →
- Environments and technology built to fit human needs.
- The science in Cor: 610 extractions from 125 published papers. Human researchers, human findings, every claim traceable to a DOI or PMID.
- The essay: written by the founder. No AI. Who I am →
- The Cor pipeline, the films, the graphics, the site build, decode:talk.
- A reason to get up.Something pulling you out of bed before anyone asks.
- People who'd notice if you vanished.A few who'd come looking.
- Respect from people who know you.Earned from faces you'll see again.

- Effort that costs something. The hard part is the point. Remove it and the reward goes with it.
- Work that leaves a mark.Effort that changed something you can point to.
- Someone smaller to protect.A life that needs you to stay alive.
- A village around your kid.One adult doing a five-person job is not a parenting style. It is a missing village.
- To move the way you're built to.Hard physical work your day actually requires.
- A future worth working toward.A tomorrow your effort actually changes.
- A feed that never ends.Built so the feeling of enough never arrives.
- More followers.A bigger number, and still no one who would notice you gone.
- An audience.Watched by thousands, known by none.
- An AI that knows your name.A chatbot playing the friend you need.
- A partner made of code.Your bonding goes out to something with no life on the other end of it.
- A job sold as your identity.Purpose on loan from someone else's spreadsheet.
- Points and streaks.Progress bars standing in for real consequences.
- Everything made easy.Friction removed until nothing you do can fail or matter.
- Achievements that unlock nothing.Badges and levels filling up while the world stays exactly the same.
- Care from something that can't die.Comfort from a thing that acts like it cares and cannot.
- Worlds full of fake people.Crowds of NPCs, not one of them anyone.
- Exercise that's just a number.Your body was built to carry, build, and cover ground. Closing a ring is none of that.
- A screen built to keep you watching.Engineered to hold the hours you would have spent building something.

Roadmap
Current alignment trains models on human preferences, and a preference is a mechanism firing, not necessarily what the person actually needs.
Alignment builds on the atlas in three tracks: a machine-readable spec any model reads at inference through one tool-call surface; steering, data curation, and evals against that spec as ground truth; and small models spec-grounded from pretraining forward.
Cor - what a human needs
An evidence-graded atlas of the human - built toward a specification.
Open Cor →- What do humans need? foundations
- How do those needs operate? mechanisms
- Where does mismatch occur? diagnosis
- What repairs it? intervention
every evidential claim carries explicit provenance: a DOI or a PMID and a verbatim quote; where provenance is incomplete or quarantined, the atlas says so
Fix the environment first. Upgrade the human second.
